Literature Text

NOTE: I'm going to be using this literature space for more of a blog type thing this time, instead of for literature.

I would like to meet the person who created the fonts for Microsoft. I'm not sure what I would do exactly. I'd give them a slap for Comic Sans and Jokerman, but congratulate them for Times New Roman, Trebuchet, Arial and Verdana etc.

As I continue to learn about the wide world of graphic design, I've taken quite a liking to fonts, as you may be able to tell from my recent submission; My Favourite Fonts. While searching though DaFont, UrbanFonts, 1001Fonts etc. I've downloaded many fonts.

I've thought of making my own fonts, but with tutorials I have watched, it seems that a good grasp of the pen tool is required, which I am working on currently, but alas I fail.

I have come across ALOT of well designed fonts and also alot of poorly made fonts. But I guess fonts are made for different reasons. Some are made specifically for certain characters. I see alot that don't have numbers but I guess that is what's come to be expected from free for download.

I guess one day, as an experiment, I might make my own font. And aint going skimpy on it either. It'll have all them funny looking letters with dots and stuff, and all the symbols and shiz. And best of all, it will be FREE! FREE I TELL YOU!

AH HA HA HA!

... probably won't be popular though.
I reckon I could've gone into much MUCH more detail on this one but I ran out of time T_T

oh well, may add onto it later.
